First visit, for 5pm dinner on New Years Eve. We pulled up and the front looked dark, like it was closed. Ended up peaking in and it was open. Had the penne and bolognese, and some focaccia bread.

Absolutely excellent Italian food. Perfectly cooked with great flavors. The bread was my favorite - cooked there and fluffy!

Service was friendly, timely, and offered great suggestions. We sat at the bar.

100% would recommend for excellent modern Italian food choices. Will be back to try other items on the menu (the pizzas look delicious).

I really can't say enough about this but let me give you the highlights.
Beautiful space. Warm and cozy.
We were greeted by a super warm greeting and you can tell that they are pleased to see their guests, and that was what we felt like from the start, not customers, but guests.
I wasn't sure what wine to get so figured a red blend is usually safe. The waiter said, hold on, and came back with three different ones to try and his choice was the right one. I have never been to a restaurant that gives you a flight to try before you choose. Just wow.
Our food? Wow! First off, so fast, buy also, perfect.
We were checked on multiple times by more than just our server. The owner also came and visited with us and was so personal and cool.
I choose this spot tonight by reviews and the fact we had never been. I am glad we did and we will be back with my guests!!

The vibe and lunch time was so easy going. Chris was a great table host. The cocktail drinks were custom and classic in taste. The Dark Rose was fruity, yet, not too sweet. The plate of pasta was so good with fresh basil pesto, tomatoes, and chicken added. I would come back to try other dishes.

Great experience!
This place is not big but the atmosphere is wonderful and intimate. Service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the rigatoni bolognese, so much flavor. I will absolutely be back.

Yummy food, lovely service. The prices are reasonable. The space is nice though a little loud. I was glad it wasn't full. The carbonara and tiramisu were my favorite dishes. The house salad was underwhelming. Overall, I'd happily go back ?

My mom and I went here for dinner and it was such a lovely atmosphere! The vintage feel from the fresh cut tree and garland for the holidays added to the already cozy feel of the restaurant. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese paired with the Smokey Italiano which was a perfect pair from the orange flavors in both items. We also had the Burrata dish to start with extra focaccia bread (recommended as it only comes with one slice of bread). My mom had the Penne Italiano for her dish. Everything was seasoned wonderfully and our server Makena was so nice and helpful! She was knowledgable about the menu and picked great suggestions (letting us know of the tip with the extra focaccia bread) as well as being personable. Jade sat us as well and was so kind to take a photo of us. She also helped to make our stay more homey by moving some tables of a party that wasn’t seated yet. They have an excellent staff as well as a classic Italian vibe which is both comforting and inviting. This would be a great place to go for any occasion and is good for casual or if you want to even dress up a little, semi formal dress wear. I would definitely go here again.

The food and service are amazing! Super tasty, kid friendly, and they have a good size menu with options for all. My husband and I love it so much that we decided to take our large family of 10 and everyone was very impressed with the quality of the food. It is definitely the closest we have found to food in Italy!

Fantastic Italian eatery that serves pasta, pizza, steak, salads and more. They have a decent selection of cocktails and wine. My wife was thrilled with the penne and Italian sausage pasta. The flat iron steak is not very big and has a mild seasoning. The pizza is good...but there's other pizzas I prefer. The lunch menu has some fine sandwiches. The Italian sausage and hot Italiano are fab. Ample parking. Their website doesn't show it but the happy hour is 2-5 Sunday-Thursday. PRO TIP: The portions are not huge, but not small. If you're really hungry, you might want to split a third entre. FUN FACT: Nostra Travola has the same owners as Nuestra Mesa. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. ✌?
