Stayed for one night. For the price it’s perfectly acceptable. Check in was by calling the number provided and entry by code. Then got a key which opened my room and the front door. Good nights sleep. Great for short stay. I expect contractors use it during the week but was quiet at the weekend. I’d stay again.

At the end of the day people who are slating this hotel obviously expect too much, it’s the cheapest hotel in Nuneaton for a reason.

It doesn’t have the space and cleanliness you would expect in a larger hotel chain but that’s why it’s only 40 pound a night.

If you want a cheap place to stay for a night or 2 and aren’t going to be in the room that much then this is definitely a good option, good location and fairly clean. It is a bit tight for space but again that’s why it’s much cheaper than those other chain hotels which are double the price

The mentally disabled owners made me feel very unwelcome. I understand they both have significant learning difficulties but to treat guests badly was insufferable. Bizarre hotel claiming to be Italian yet both plucked eyebrow men are as Italian as a council estate pizza shop.

Very bad. Very rude. Not decent. Error with date, arrived in the rain and they refused to let us stay for the night we paid for. Took my money and the owner slammed the phone on me. Then saw men undressing themselves by the window. The owner and co owner naked by the window. Not a safe place for women. Not safe at all.

As my first hotel experience, my stay at Las Tavola was both enjoyable and comfortable. Upon arriving I was informed that the single room I had booked was unavailable, and so I was given a double room instead at no extra charge. The room was warm, clean and inviting, and I had no trouble sleeping that night. The staff were all very friendly, and quick to offer their service should you need it. On the evening of my stay there was some entertainment on in the bar/restaurant area, consisting of a Lady Gaga tribute act as well as plenty of 80's/90's music throughout the night, which is a welcome change to the usual rubbish that seems to be played at every bar and night club these days. The bar itself was cozy without being cramped, and while I cannot soak for the quality of the restaurant, the drinks were reasonably priced and refreshing. Included in the price of my room was a breakfast, which I unfortunately didn't get the chance to sample due to other arrangements I had already made, however the inviting smell of bacon and sausages that made their way down the corridor left little to the imagination. =) Overall my stay at La Tavola was one that I will definitely remember, and I am certain I will be staying again sometime in the near future. Many thanks to all the staff at La Tavola! I hope to see you all again soon!

Please keep driving past. Cheap but not cheerful. Noisy beyond belief. Terrible road noise and a music blaring downstairs til 2am. Dirty room and shower. Please, pay a little extra and find somewhere else.

Dirtiest place I have ever had the unfortune of booking. There were condoms in wrappers on top of the cupboard (a thick layer of dust was also there to greet me).

There was also mold on the soap holder, drain, shower head and shower curtain.
The sink hadn't been cleaned at all as there was dried shaving foam/toothpaste suds.
The bin in the bathroom wasn't changed at all either, there was a small amount of red liquid in the bottom (looked like blood).
The beds were quite solid and noticed in the morning that there was long hairs on the pillow (I have short hair).
The room also had various rings where glasses of water/beer/squash or whatever was placed down, adding to the ammunition that this place is never cleaned.
The only reason there being one star (other than it being the minimum) is that I was offered a full refund and breakfast in the morning, breakfast was refused for obvious hygiene concerns.
To those wondering why the hell I stayed here, it's because I had a long drive up to there and work the next morning, obviously another place was booked.
